Sugru
We have been given an assignement to use our Sugru in a productive and creative way. I used mine to repair one of the school's bass clarinets in band. Each bass clarinet comes with a metal rod that attaches to the bottom of the instrument that acts as a small stand. It's purpose is to adjust the hieght of the clarinet. The attachement device that was on the bass clarinet I use was broken, meaning the intrument could not be raised or lowered to the proper hieght. To fix this I placed some of the Sugru on the rod at the appropriate height for my playing preferances, allowing me to play the instrument comfortably.

I'm glad you finally fixed your clarinet. Sounds pretty inconvenient. Also, I feel as if that's something maybe the school should fix for you.. Either way, it sounds pretty cool. Good use.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Molly about the school fixing your clarinet but you cant always win and by fixing the schools property, you've improved the school just enough to make someones day (maybe)
ReplyDeleteJust goes to show how effective Sugru can be. I agree that its the school's responsibility to fix this issue but least you changed the world and helped the school out. I think that we should do things like these more often because in the future I am def. going to be using more Sugru!
